Welcome to the Information Resource Center and Library of the Saint Anthony School (SAS), Los Baños Campus. The Center/Library is committed to uphold its Vision/Mission of providing relevant, up-to-date and Valuable information materials in support to our school's objectives of providing quality education to its students. Books and other information materials are well-organized and processed to make them searchable and retrievable. In view of the modern trend, we maintained a Library and Information Management System where in bibliographic details of these materials can be accessed via our campus Online Public Access Catalogue(OPAC)
The Library still maintained the card catalogues as back-up-file, in case the system will have a trouble in the operation.
To substantiate with our collected information resources, the Department of Science and Technology(DOST) through its Science and Technology Information Institute(STII) has provided our school with a kiosk for their Starbook. The Starbook serves as portal to the digitized information on science, technology, mathematics, and related fields. It consist of bibliographic data and texts from varios sources. We, in the Information Resource Center encourage all the students,teachers, and staff of the Saint Anthony School to visit out Library so that you, too, can benefit from our available wealth of resources.
The Saint Anthony School (SAS) aims to develop and nurture its student abilities and skill so they may be able to unfold their hidden talents and make them well-rounded person, well-informed individuals who will become the future leaders, effective and productive members of their respective families, their community and country under the blessings and grace of the almighty.
The Saint Anthony School(SAS) Library is envisioned to provide the Anthonians Community with quality education through a "Learning Resource Center" equipped with complete relevant, up-to-date, and valuable reading materials/learning references and modern facilities.
It is in the spirit of a "True Anthonians" that our Library is committed to provide the Anthonian Community with quality education by providing a "Learning Resource Center" complete with reading materials and upgrade learning references.
ALL LIBRARY USERS ARE ENCOURAGE TO ABIDE BY THE SFACS LIBRARY POLICY AND GUIDLINES. ANY VIOLATION WILL MEAN REVOCATION OF LIBRARY PRIVILAGES FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD DEPENDING UPON THE GRAVITY OF THE OFFENSE.
